During this treatment you will experience a gentle, effective, odorless & relaxing method of cleansing your colon. Your session is a comfortable and often relaxing experience for many people. The room is immaculate, private, comfortable and quiet with an adjoining bathroom. We use highly filtered & purified water, which is temperature controlled. The gentle filling and emptying of the colon improves peristaltic movement, this is the muscular contraction by which the colon naturally moves material along. Therefore with the water moving forwards and backwards it is a gentle form of exercise stimulating the bowel wall keeping it healthy. How many sessions will you need? That depends on you and your goals. It is recommended for anyone looking for general detoxification would need a total of 6 to 8 sessions over no more than a 6-8 week period. You will be in a private room, your therapist fully appreciates the sensitivity of the colonic procedure and will help you feel at ease. Following a full introduction & consultation, You will be instructed on how to gently insert a small pencil like rectal tube into your rectum, This rectal tube is "STERILE" and " SINGLE USE ONLY". You are completely covered & your privacy will be maintained at all times. Each colonic hydrotherapy session lasts approx. 35-45 min. You should allow a total of 1 ½ hours for your first visit and 1 hour for follow-up visits.Your colon hydro therapist will discuss your symptoms (if any) and review your history.
